Yangarra Circle Range: Organic Biodynamic Wines
Some wine ranges are made for collecting. The Yangarra Circle Range is made for living: shared dinners, sunny afternoons, seafood on the table and relaxed evenings when you want a wine that tastes polished without feeling formal.
Made entirely from fruit grown on Yangarra Estate’s certified organic and biodynamic vineyard in Blewitt Springs, McLaren Vale, the Circle wines bring a lighter, brighter expression to Mediterranean and Southern Rhône varieties. Expect crisp, mineral whites, dry and textural rosé, fragrant Grenache and medium-bodied reds with freshness, spice and fine tannins.
All six Circle wines are certified organic, certified biodynamic and vegan suitable.
What Is the Yangarra Circle Range?
The Circle Range is Yangarra’s vibrant, earlier-drinking collection of estate-grown wines. It carries the same attention to farming and winemaking found throughout the Yangarra portfolio, expressed in styles that are especially approachable, food-friendly and ready to enjoy.
Yangarra’s elevated vineyard sits in the north-east of McLaren Vale, where ancient sandy soils, warm days, cooling elevation and a Mediterranean climate create excellent conditions for Grenache, Shiraz and lesser-known Southern Rhône varieties.
The range includes two distinctive whites, a dry rosé and three fresh, contemporary reds:
- Yangarra Circle Rosé 2025
- Yangarra Circle Grenache 2024
- Yangarra Circle Field Blend 2024
- Yangarra Circle Piquepoul 2025
- Yangarra Circle Shiraz 2024
- Yangarra Circle Grenache Blanc 2024

Yangarra Circle Rosé 2025
Rosehip – Strawberry – Chalky Texture
Dry, pale and quietly textural, Yangarra Circle Rosé 2025 combines rosehip, strawberry, watermelon and blood orange with dried herbs and a gently savoury mineral edge. Its crisp acidity and light chalky texture make it refreshing enough for a picnic, yet structured enough to accompany a proper meal.
The 2025 blend is led by Mourvèdre and Grenache, supported by small amounts of Counoise, Carignan and Cinsault. Each variety was individually pressed and cool fermented before maturation on lees and in older French oak, building texture without adding obvious oak flavour.
Best with: prawns, grilled chicken, tomato salads, watermelon and feta, zucchini fritters or Mediterranean vegetables.

Yangarra Circle Piquepoul 2025
Lemon Zest – Sea Spray – Salty Minerality
Piquepoul is famous in southern France as a partner for oysters and seafood, and Yangarra’s McLaren Vale expression is just as convincing. Lemon zest, green apple, fennel, delicate herbs and sea-spray freshness lead into a light, dry and mouth-watering palate.
The Piquepoul Blanc vines were planted at Yangarra in 2015. For the 2025 release, the fruit was hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed, with only the early free-run juice retained. Maturation on lees in stainless steel and cocciopesto amphorae adds subtle creaminess while preserving its crunchy acidity and salty mineral finish.
Best with: oysters, grilled calamari, prawns, fish tacos, goat’s cheese, fresh salads or anything brightened with lemon.

Yangarra Circle Grenache Blanc 2024
Golden Apple – Meyer Lemon – Leesy Texture
Grenache Blanc offers a little more body and texture than Piquepoul while retaining plenty of freshness. The 2024 Circle Grenache Blanc shows golden apple, Meyer lemon, green apple, white blossom and subtle herbal notes, carried by a dry, gently savoury palate.
Lees ageing gives the wine a rounded middle, while citrus pith, mild phenolic grip and lively acidity keep the finish bright and mouth-watering. This is an excellent choice for anyone who enjoys textural whites that remain fresh rather than rich or oaky.
Best with: chargrilled seafood, roast chicken with lemon, creamy cheeses, vegetable tarts, calamari or Mediterranean dishes with aioli.

Yangarra Circle Grenache 2024
Wild Strawberry – Cherry Blossom – Silky Spice
Bright, fragrant and beautifully supple, Yangarra Circle Grenache 2024 captures the lighter side of McLaren Vale Grenache. Wild strawberry, red cherry and floral perfume meet savoury spice and fine natural tannins.
The wine is medium-bodied rather than heavy, with an open, juicy fruit profile and a dry, composed finish. It can be served at normal red-wine temperature or given a light chill during warmer weather.
Best with: roast chicken, lamb kofta, grilled eggplant, charcuterie, mushroom dishes, pizza or tomato-based pasta.

Yangarra Circle Field Blend 2024
Wild Strawberry – Dried Herbs – Savoury Mineral Edge
Think of the Circle Field Blend as Grenache with friends. The 2024 blend combines 70% Grenache with Carignan, Counoise, Cinsaut and Mourvèdre, bringing together fragrance, juicy fruit, savoury structure and gentle spice.
Grenache provides wild strawberry and red-cherry brightness, while the supporting varieties contribute dried herbs, freshness and fine tannin. The result is a smooth, vibrant and highly versatile red that is delicious served lightly chilled.
Best with: antipasto, grilled sausages, vegetable skewers, pizza, lamb, tomato-rich dishes or a casual barbecue.

Yangarra Circle Shiraz 2024
Boysenberry – Dark Cherry – Warm Spice
This is McLaren Vale Shiraz with the volume turned down and the detail turned up. Tart boysenberry, dark cherry and blueberry are layered with warm spice and a delicate floral note.
The palate is medium-bodied, energetic and smooth, with fine tannins and subtle older-oak maturation providing shape rather than sweetness or heavy vanilla flavour. It is a polished, versatile Shiraz for drinkers who prefer freshness over jamminess.
Best with: barbecue lamb, roast chicken, mushroom stroganoff, peppery sausages, smoky eggplant or slow-cooked tomato dishes.

Why Choose Yangarra Circle Wines?
Certified Organic and Biodynamic
Every Circle wine is grown on Yangarra’s certified organic and biodynamic single estate. Synthetic herbicides and systemic chemical inputs are avoided, with vineyard health supported through biodiversity, composting and careful soil management.
Estate Grown in Blewitt Springs
The wines come from Yangarra’s elevated vineyard in the north-east of McLaren Vale. Ancient sands, ironstone, clay and the underlying North Maslin Sands formation contribute perfume, natural freshness and fine structure.
Southern Rhône Varieties
Alongside familiar Grenache and Shiraz, the Circle Range introduces Australian wine drinkers to varieties such as Piquepoul Blanc, Grenache Blanc, Counoise, Cinsaut and Carignan. These grapes are naturally well suited to McLaren Vale’s Mediterranean conditions.
Made for Food and Relaxed Drinking
The whites are dry and mineral, the rosé is crisp and savoury, and the reds favour perfume and freshness over excessive weight. They work beautifully with seafood, Mediterranean cooking, vegetables, shared plates and casual barbecues.
