A vintage of extremes with record-breaking temperatures in March following a cooler-than-average February allowed for gentle ripening in 2008, and with virtually no rain experienced in the lead up to harvest, grapes arrived in excellent condition. This vintage’s sauvignon blanc has a riper than normal nose presenting a fruit cocktail of peach and melon and hints of lemon sorbet. A structured wine with good fruit weight, this wine exhibits a refreshingly dry finish.
