Taste Profile
Tasting Notes
Bright and clear with a faint green hue, this wine opens with apple and passionfruit, followed by a lifted lychee note that keeps it feeling vibrant rather than herbal-heavy. The palate flows straight from the aromatics and finishes with a delicate gooseberry snap. It’s dry, crisp and mouth-watering, with plenty of flavour but a clean, tidy line right through to the finish.
Winemaking
Perfectly ripened grapes are picked in the soft light of dawn to keep the fruit cool and minimise oxidation. On arrival at Angove’s certified organic winery, the grapes are gently pressed and the juice is transferred to cooled stainless steel tanks to settle. The clear juice is then fermented under temperature-controlled conditions to preserve the delicate aromatics and bright fruit flavours, before a light filtration and bottling.
Vineyard & Vintage
Grapes for this wine are entirely sourced from Angove’s certified organic Nanya Vineyard near Paringa in South Australia. The sandy loam over limestone soils, abundant sunshine, warm days and cool nights provide ideal conditions for flavour-packed fruit while keeping natural freshness. Angove views the vineyard as a holistic system where overall environmental health is key to great grapes.
Why We Love It
It’s crisp, expressive and reliably food-friendly. Apple, passionfruit and gooseberry give you all the Sauvignon Blanc energy, while the dry finish keeps it clean and easy to keep drinking.
Food Pairing
This style is brilliant with seafood, fresh herbs, citrus, crunchy salads, and dishes with a bit of chilli or ginger. The bright acidity and dry finish also make it excellent with anything lightly fried.

Serving Tips
Serve well chilled at 7–9°C. If it feels too tight straight from the fridge, give it 3–5 minutes in the glass and the aromatics will lift.
Cellaring
A “drink young” style – best enjoyed now and over the next 1–2 years for peak freshness. Once opened, reseal and refrigerate – best within 2–3 days.
