Winery/Brand: Yarra Vale

Medium red, with brown tinges. Delicate fragrances of rose petals and herbs with some blackberry hints. Lovely dusty cedar/cigar box oak with a very rewarding textured palate. A wine that is youthful for its age and drinking very well.

The Story

This wine was fermented in small, open fermenters and plunged daily before being pressed and settled. It was matured in predominantly French, and a lesser quantity of American, oak for 11 months.
