Raspberries and spice and all things Italian and nice. This Italian Merlot is great value for money and pairs beautifully with Italian favourites such as cured meats or tomato based pasta dishes, ragus or osso bucco.
Abundant red fruit on the nose, the palate is soft and smooth with plum and spice, and the finish is warm and enjoyable...bellissimo!
Variety: 100% Merlot.
No synthetic fertilizers or pesticides are used, absolutely no GMO.
Denomination: Veneto Protected Geographical Indication: Province of Treviso
Winemaking: The must is in contact with the skins for approx. 12/15 days at a temperature of 28/30°C. The wine is stored in stainless steel tanks until bottling.
Tasting Notes: Ruby red colour, intense vinous aroma with notes of raspberries and spices. Smooth on the palate.
Food Pairing: Good with highly flavoured dishes such as risotto and meatfilled ravioli.
Excellent with salami, stewed meat, roast white and red meat.
Serving Temperature: 16/18 °C.
Alcohol: 12% vol.
Sugar: 8 gr/l
