The Natural Wine Co is a second label for Jason and Rebecca O'Dea of Pig in the House fame. They saw it as an opportunity to emphasise the regions ability to produce vibrant approachable wines from certified organic vineyards.
The grapes for this wine comes from our vineyard near Cowra, which is well suited to quality Chardonnay grapes. The vineyard has been organically certified since 2013, and typically produces fruit with distinct notes of pears and stone fruit. Grapes are pressed gently and fermented for about three weeks in Stainless steel tanks. The wine is left on lees for about four months, lightly filtered, then bottled.
