Summary
The Hero of Zero wines are hand-crafted from the best quality fruit sourced from premium vineyards across Australia. With meticulous handling in the vineyard and winery, the pristine fruit will have less exposure to anything harmful that may normally require the addition of preservatives. Our wines are crafted to be brightly coloured, exotically fragrant, full-flavoured and critically, they sing without the addition of preservatives. Perfectly suited to many cuisines, these wines are also crafted to ensure they are suitable for Vegans.
Winemaking
Winemaking: Healthy and problem free fruit is selected in the vineyard and then picked in the cool of the night and then rushed to the nearby winery for a fast and focused vinification. Fermentation is cool in a closed static fermenter before a short maturation. The resultant wine is then consigned to large steel tanks (charmat method) where the wine undergoes steady carbonation and sealed under cork.

11 July 2021It’s only recently I discovered sulphites and me don’t get along, I was thinking I’d never get a good sparkling wine ever again, I’ve had a few wines from the Hero of Zero range and it’s my favourite PF so far. So when I saw this Blanc de Blanc I thought it would be good.. it’s better than that… it’s fantastic, I’m very happy
