Brick red in colour. This wine shows lifted mulberries, earth and leather on the nose. On the palate there are earthy and savoury flavours, subtle aged characters of chocolate and butterscotch. Soft fine tannins support the palate of this opulent wine. The wine finishes with complexity and length.

After crushing, the must was fermented in open fermenters and pressed. On completion of its primary ferment the wine underwent Malolactic fermentation. Vouges oak was used during the production of this wine. The wine was then racked and matured in oak Stackvats and Barriques.
