Temple Bruer Agonist Saperavi 2017

This is an interesting and delicious dark brooding wine, aromas of black cherry and flavours of wild black fruit and earthy rich beetroot. The palate is smooth and rich, with good length.

Saperavi which literally means ‘dye’, is a deeply coloured red grape variety, hailing from Georgia (formerly part of the Soviet Union). It is one of the few red grapes that has red flesh as well as skin, so it's colour comes not only from fermentation on the skins.

Agonist is the new premium range from Temple Bruer.

Tasting Notes from the bottle:
Midnight fresco | Dance with colour, heart aflutter with ruby ink and violet chorus. Beneath raven skies, beetroots beat and cherries shine. Full-bodied feelings and thrumming structure. Let the love run deep (red).
