"...Mouthwatering stuff. Flinty grapefruit citrus aromas with lemon sherbet, white peach, nectarine and gentle spice, are light and energetic. What we have here is a cool restraint, where primary fruits with lemon curd and nougat softness are driven by a fine, taut line of acidity."  92 points - Jeni Port Halliday Wine Companion 2021

100% estate- grown, single-vineyard, certified biodynamic fruit from a mix of two terriors: grey gravelly loams over clay and red loam over gravel.

Stefano Lubiana

Tasmania’s first and only certified biodynamic vineyard has been cultivating vines using biodynamic methods since 2010. This means that their wines are free of all synthetic treatments, additives and pesticides. Instead they travel the alternative path, stepping back in time and using cosmic rhythms to ensure soil regenereation as well as effective vine care through all phases of the year’s seasonal cycles.

Their much sought-after wines are the result of a passionate unrelenting quest for perfection. This passion, along with free thinking and attention to detail allows them to create wines which reflect this vision. Their focus on traditional and environmentally sensitive principals has only strengthened their desire to create wines that have a unique and distinctive character, with free-flowing elegance and quality.

Don’t mind me, but there’s a bit of freshly cut pumpkin to smell here, also nashi pear, lime, cashew and cinnamon spice. It’s juicy, very juicy, but fresh and vibrant, a fine delivery of flavour, fine powdery texture, almond meal, succulence and heaps good length. It’s a delightful wine.

Primavera means spring and as a drink-now, early release chardonnay, it fulfils its promise to be bright and fresh. Mouthwatering stuff. Flinty grapefruit citrus aromas with lemon sherbet, white peach, nectarine and gentle spice, are light and energetic. What we have here is a cool restraint, where primary fruits with lemon curd and nougat softness are driven by a fine, taut line of acidity.
