Deep garnet red with an inky edge. The bouquet has lifted black pepper and nutmeg spice, with plumy and liquorice overtones. Oak maturation has added a cashew nut influence that adds to the sweet berry aromas. This is a full structured, well rounded red wine of immense quality. The flavours of Satsuma plum and ripe mulberries are intense and are complemented with soft vanillin characters. Ideal with a cheese platter or with any red meat dishes.
Our Winery is an N.O.P Certified Organic Winemaker and Bottler. This ensures the quality control process and organic status of the fruit and wine in maintained from the vineyard to the bottle. The wine shows an abundance of generous fruit characters and has soft, yet full bodied flavours that linger on and on. Oak maturation has further complexed the wine, adding a supporting rather than a dominating role. .
