One of our most popular wines.
Crimson with purple hues, lovely aromas of raspberry, liquorice and warm spice. The medium palate tastes of blackberry, cassis and dark plum leading to fine grained spicy tannins on the finish. A flavoursome blend of 50% Shiraz 35% Mourvedre & 15% Grenache. Generous and smooth, with the well rounded, warm shiraz spice underlayed with the thick and dark, rustic texture of the Mourvedre.
Organic, Preservative free and Vegan friendly.
Preservative Free means made without adding any preservatives, in particular, sulfur dioxide. It is sought out equally by allergy sufferers and “natural wine idealists.” The most obvious feature of preservative free red wine is a very vibrant colour with tinges of purple.
The priority is to use the cleanest fruit to make this wine each year, and so it could be from any part of the vineyard. It has so far been a blend of Shiraz, Mourvedre and Grenache.
