One of our most popular wines.
Rich and smooth, with the well rounded, warm shiraz spice underlayed with the thick and dark, rustic texture of the Mourvedre. Full bodied yet vibrant, floral and fruit driven, firm drying tannins and a long finish with a cascade of warm spices. Preservative free and Vegan friendly.
Preservative Free means made without adding any preservatives, in particular, sulfur dioxide. It is sought out equally by allergy sufferers and “natural wine idealists.” The most obvious feature of preservative free red wine is a very vibrant colour with tinges of purple.
The priority is to use the cleanest fruit to make this wine each year, and so it could be from any part of the vineyard, however it has so far been Shiraz or Mourvedre, or a combination of the two, that forms the Freedom Red.
