It's all about strawberry for this new preservative free rose. Light strawberry in colour, fresh strawberry aromas on the nose, and strawberry jam on the palate. Has enough acid and length to keep it going. Very easy to drink on a hot summers day. Serve well chilled with a sashimi platter.
This wine is made with Nero D'Avola grapes, originating from Sicily, which first arrived in Australia in 1998. A great variety for Australian conditions as they are suitability to dry, arid climates, and can withstand heat waves while still retaining some acid. This grape is also know for making delicious light-medium bodied wines that are very easy to drink. This one is no exception to that.
