With an appealing garnet red, this wine is wow on the nose! Hints of tobacco, leather, lemon scented gum, and violets. The floral aromatic draws you in and keeps you guessing. Mixed red fruits, ripe raspberry and spices under pin the initial floral aromas. To taste, there are gently gripping tannings which open your tastebuds to the subtle French oak characteristics.
A mid weight Shiraz, this will appeal to everyone, especially those who enjoy a European style Syrah.

The Miracle on the Wire range represent extraordinary value for money.
Tasting notes from the winery for Miracle On The Wire Organic Shiraz 2017
Nature is a very curious and amazing thing and as vineyard owners in the Central Ranges wine district of New South Wales, we are constantly surprised how well our vines can perform in stressful conditions, with little to no rain. Miracle on the Wire refers to the tiny bunches of grapes that form on our vines each year, as well as to the sighting of the Blue Wren perched up on the wires of our Zeals Vineyard, as this is usually a sign of coming rain and good fortune.
The extensive vineyard is Certified Organic, and adopts natural, sustainable, farming practices to ensure vigorous growth of the grapevines. This wine is mid-weighted, displaying layers of mixed red fruits and spicy notes. The tannins are gentle and interwoven with subtle French oak characters. A vibrant wine that can be enjoyed now or cellared for up to 3-5 years.

It’s sweetly fruited and perfumed, showing blackberry, spiced plum, olive and roasted hazelnut characters on the nose with a seductive nuance of warm spice. The palate delivers succulent fruit intensity together with plump mouthfeel and fleshy texture, finishing gorgeously long and velvety. At its best: now to 2025.
