This wine has a bouquet of ripe blood plums, attractive Oak and a hint of chocolate. The palate is well integrated and has a good rich length. The tannins are soft and fine contributing to the palate length. Fourteen months in new American oak and one year old French oak have added to the complexity. The wine will age gracefully and be excellent drinking over the next ten years.
