Lowe Tinja Preservative Free Merlot 2012
This is a vibrant wine with aromas of plums and concentrated red fruit. Some naturally occurring CO2 has been retained which helps keep the wine fresh, and it has been very successful. A very new style of wine that provides alternatives to the complex ageing wines that we have all consumed to date.
Vinifcation: Cold fermented at 15 Centigrade with a neutral yeast, pressed early then stored cold at 10 Centigrade until early bottling in May. This process retains some natural CO2 and prevents oxidation, the only way to manage the quality in this wine.
