Pale yellow-green in colour, intense lemon and citrus characters dominate the nose. The palate is rich and full showing crisp acid beneath the citrus, giving a wine of great length and elegance. Although it is drinking superbly now, the wine will develop a wonderful complexity with 6-10 years bottle age.



The Story

Handpicked on the 5th of April 2003 the fruit was wholebunch pressed, settled for 48 hours without enzymes, and then racked to wild ferment. Five days later fermentation commenced and after resting over winter, it finally completed in November. Falling bright with gravity this wine is neither fined nor filtered and is bottled by hand using natural corks.
