Winery/Brand: Happs
Colour: A great colour, dark red with a red purple hue – a clear indication the wine has escaped the harmful effects of oxidation despite the absence of the antioxidant sulphur dioxide.
Bouquet: Dark fruit, plum skin, ripe cherry, with a hint of chocolate and forest floor.
Palate:A medium-full bodied wine with red fruit, plum skin, dark cherry and chocolate flavours. The tannins are soft and velvety though slightly grainy with good persistence of flavour and green plum aftertase.
