Tasting Notes from the winery:
Colour: Strawberry hues
Aroma: Raspberries, nectarine and grapefruit
Taste: Red currents, new season Plums with Toffee-Apple-Candied fruit sweetness and refreshing grapefruit tartness.
Background: A dry style, barrel matured Rose. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Shiraz juice was left on grape skins for only 6 hours to extract ample colour and flavour The Freehand Rose has a deep hue, with genuine flavour and aromas to match! A versatile ROSE that drinks well both chilled or at room temperature as a light dry red.
Freehand wines are created using organic/biodynamic grapes; grown with maximum attention, vinified with minimal intervention and no preservatives are added. The vineyard is not certified although the Eastwell family have been practicing organic/biodynamic principles since 2008.

A Refreshing Summer Rose
23 January 2018This wine is very palatable, perfect with dinner or on a summer afternoon. It is very light and refreshing, not so sweet like so many roses' can be.
