The grapes were quickly crushed and pressed into stainless steel tanks where the juice was fermented at controlled cool temperatures to capture the intense varietal flavours. SILVER MEDAL - New World Wine Awards 2014

"Bright, very pale straw colour with slight green hues, pale edged. This has a full, ethereal nose of white florals with mineral and fresh herb detail, revealing light nettle and capsicum notes. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, restrained and tightly bound flavours of gooseberries, minerals and herbs follow a fine textural thread with good linearity. The acidity is soft and light in zestiness, enlivening the herb and floral fruit. Refreshing and lively, the mouthfeel is bright, dry and moderately sustained with subtle herb and minerally notes. This is a restrained and stylish gooseberry and floral fruited Sauvignon Blanc. Serve as an aperitif and with shellfish over the next 2 years."
