The best vintage yet of this Sauvignon Blanc. It is pale straw in colour with an interesting nose of citrus & guava and some floral and herbal notes. On the palate it is fresh and lively with grassiness and some tropical fruit overtones. Good acid on the finish leaves you ready for another sip.
Angove Organic Sauvignon Blanc is made from organically certified grapes grown in our own Nanya Vineyard, near Paringa South Australia.
NOTES FROM THE BOTTLE
Pale straw in colour with green hues this fresh and inviting wine exudes aromas of citrus, guava, and passionfruit with delicate herbal notes. The alluring palate entices the senses further with tropical fruit characters and a clean, fresh finish.
Picked late at night to harvest the grapes as cold as possible the grapes were transported to the winery and pressed using modern tank presses. After cold setting the clear juice was carefully racked to cooled fermentation tanks and inoculated with selected yeasts. Cool fermentation was followed by minimal handling filtration and bottling at the Angove winery.
