Rich garnet red in colour. The nose is varietal of Tempranillo, with juicy blackcurrants, plums, cherries, and fennel seed, but also a hint of black pepper from the Shiraz component. The palate is lively and rounded, with some fine chalky tannins, making a wine which is perfect for drinking alone but also goes with food such as herbed sausages or aromatic chickpea stew.
The Amigo de la Tierra Tempranillo (70%) and Syrah (30%), is made without oak ageing, from bush vine grapes grown on gently rolling silt and sand terrain in Corral de Almaguer, Toledo.
Deep bordeaux red colour. The nose is wonderfully varietal, with plenty of aromas of freshly pressed berries, plums and cherries especially. The palate is lively and rounded, making a wine which is fine for drinking alone but also with good steaks and sausages.

vintage 2018 | After 2016 and 2017, which were dry and then drier, 2018 got back to a climate we recognised, with a cool spring, sufficient rainfall even into early summer and then a good long and dry summer, without excessive heat, well into September.
