The Story

WINEMAKING/VITICULTURE: Made with organic winemaking techniques with very little winemaking intervention. The grapes for this wine were sourced from four family owned vineyards that are organically certified. The Barich family vineyard is located on the Murray River at Loxton, The Palena family vineyard lies near Barmera, the Strachan family vineyard sits in the Sellicks foothills subregion of McLaren Vale, and the Carypidis family of Virginia are in the Adelaide Plains.

VINTAGE CONDITIONS: Average temperatures through spring and early summer with minimal rain allowed the vines to grow with healthy balanced canopies and good fruit set. Cool conditions through January to March allowed the grapes to ripen slowly and evenly, producing a wine with outstanding depth of flavour.
