Winery/Brand: Temple Bruer
Rich with plums, cherries and blackberries this wine offers a full gentle palate of great length and complexity. It is dominantly fruit driven with an essence of spice and dashes of cinnamon, chocolate and vanilla. The wine has a strong finish of toasty mocha coffee.
The Story
The Shiraz and Malbec musts were co-fermented within the temperature range of 19-22 deg C. The cap was regularly pumped over to extract maximum flavour. The wine was pressed at 2.4 deg Be` and all the pressings were included with the free-run wine. Following fermentation, the wine was racked and underwent a malolactic fermentation. The wine was sterile filtered on bottling.
