Tasting Notes for Running with the Cows Tempranillo 2023 from the Winery
Nose: The nose is generous with dark berried fruits
Palate: The palate is rich with cherries, plums and savoury earthiness. The wine has weight but is balanced by velvety tannin structure and fresh acidity. Effortlessly enjoyed now as a generous fruit forward, complex style or for many years ahead where you can expect to see savoury and earthy complexity shine through the fruit.
Spice-filled, soft and friendly in blue fruits, red and black berries, red liquorice with just a touch of black pepper, it cruises along enjoying the moment and dispensing some happiness along the way. It’s a feel-good kind of wine, medium bodied and very approachable!

93 pts - Sam Kim (Wine Orbit)
This is immediately appealing on the nose with Black Doris plum, blueberry, rich floral, and warm spice notes. It leads to a silky-smooth palate that's juicy and flowing. It's plump and supple with a long, soothing finish.
93 pts - Ken Gargett (Wine Pilot)
Cute name and terrific packaging for this famous Spanish variety, this example from the Adelaide Hills. The colour is a dark plum/purple. On the nose, there are aromas of smoked meats, cherries, bay leaves, warm earth, chocolate, florals, bergamot, blackberries and a rather pleasing fresh sea breeze note. A delicious drink, this is ripe with bright flavours, vibrant acidity running the full journey and excellent length. Enjoy this any time over the next six to eight years. A really good local Temp.
