Random Valley Organic

This family owned organic farm has been developed since 1995 by Peter & Suzanne Little, producing grapes, beef and native flowers. The 40ha farm has 7ha of vines nestled on the valley slopes above the protected valley waterway which runs through native tea tree thickets. The Littles have over 20 years experience of working in environmentally sustainable projects and have taken a long-term scientific approach to managing & improving their organic farm. They have focussed initially on soil & water health and have measured & recorded comprehensive baseline data that will enable them to analyse & continuously improve their practices. The measurements include detailed GPS soil mapping, regular soil analysis, nutrient analysis of water flows into and out of the property, and nutrient supplies provided by slashing & mulching activities.
