This small vineyard is set amongst grazing land and Jarrah/Marri woodlands in the heart of Western Australia's Great Southern Region and is run by Jan & John Pickles. Since 1985 premium wine grapes have been produced according to biodynamic practices. Liquid preparations, tonnes of organic compost & a small army of marauding (pest eating) chooks are all part of the approach. Wines are made by Brenden Smith and the focus is clean crisp wines that exhibit loads of intense fruit flavour.
