Winery/Brand: Temple Bruer

What a treat to be able to offer this trophy winning aged wine. The years are hardly showing in the colour of this pale-medium gold wine. The aromas of citrus, honey and some tropical fruits are tempting and the palate doesn't dissappoint. The palate is light but lasting, with a lovely viscosity from age and great acid that makes you want to take another sip. The acid to indicates it will age further, but it's great drinking right now, and would shine even more with food...an asian style spicy whole snapper would be perfect!

The Story

Made from Chenin Blanc grapes grown in the Temple Bruer vineyard, this wine shows a lively aromatic nose, with green apple and tropical fruit flavours on the palate and a crisp finish showing just a hint of sweetness. Great drinking now, it will develop with some cellaring. Savour with seafood, Thai or other Asian foods.
