The 2015 Martins Hill Sauvignon Blanc is a very pale youthful wine with lemon citrus aromas, a waft of guava & pineapple and a hint of fennel seed. At only 10.9% alcohol you'd expect the palate to be quite zesty and it is, with a good clean acid line, finishing dry with a little bit of bitterness that leaves your mouth watering. This wine shows great varietal aroma and palate.

As usual, hand picked by a group of friends, family and European visitors, commencing at dawn (14°C) and crushed before midday.
