The wine is light in colour. Fresh lemon and lime lead the nose which also shows perfumed spring blossoms and pineapple. The palate is light, with well structured acidity reminiscent of lemon and pineapple fruit. The wine develops into a softer finish of medium to long length with hints of stone-fruit.
Background, Vintage and Winemaker Notes:
The fruit used to create this wine was sourced from Temple Bruer vineyard in Langhorne Creek (60%) and Glenara vineyard in the Adelaide Hills (40%). Each parcel was harvested separately before blending the clear juice. Alcoholic fermentation commenced slowly under cool conditions to retain fruit flavour.
