Aromatics: A myriad of rich ripe red fruits with lashings of liquorice and soft dark chocolate open up to reveal an underlying complexity of seasoned oak and spice.
Palate: A flood of powerful flavours from front to back unveil the brooding ripe complexity of a hand crafted organic McLaren Vale Shiraz. Layers of rhubarb, dark berries and plum combined with well structured tannin and oak to leave a lingering graceful finish.

Vigneron Notes: Sourced from the organic J&J single vineyard site on Rivers Lane in the heart of McLaren Vale this is the first of many Rivers Lane series wines to be released. The 2009/10 growing season was the best seen in over a decade. The long, even ripening period allowed the fruit to mature gradually and reach its ultimate ripeness and flavour potential. Enjoy now or even in 2020.
